Side Saddle Clinics now available for booking

Please note that these clinics are just open to over 18s at the moment, one helper is allowed per rider, both must leave immediately the lesson is over. Secretary will be in touch with lesson times and to arrange a saddle for you if you do not have your own saddle yet. All those taking a lesson must be current 2022 members of Side Saddle Ireland and must take an antigen test the morning of the clinic in order to be able to take part.

Membership 2022

Membership 2022 will be open on itsplainsailing on 8th January. Please support the work of SIde Saddle Ireland to promote and protect our sport, by paying your membership and supporting the clinics that we are running, along with our affiliated shows. Cheque payments can still be accepted but please input your membership details on itsplainsailing. Further Info to follow.

Clinics 2022

Dear members,

Faith Ponsonby is kindly running side saddle clinics on 16th January, 20th February and 13th March, in Mullinahone Co. Tipperary, weather permitting. All riders and helpers must take an Antigen test the morning of the clinic and must be over 18 years old. The minute lesson is over, rider and helper must leave. Only one helper per rider. Any change in the Covid Situation means we will have to consider postponing. Side Saddles will be available on the day for those members who do not have their own saddles yet. It is possible that some saddles will also be available for sale on the day, for those looking to buy their own. Applications for the clinics will open on 8th January 2022 on itsplainsailing. All riders taking part in these lessons must be members of Side Saddle Ireland. Membership must also be paid through itsplainsailing.

Show Affiliation 2022

Dear Show Secretaries, please note that applications and payments for show affiliations 2022 will be made online via itsplainsailing. If you do not have an online facility for payments yet, you can still book your show affiliation online and then forward cheque made payable to Side Saddle Ireland to Ciara O’Connell, Suaimhneas, Aughmacart, Cullohill, Co. Laois R32Y8C7. Show Affiliations will open mid January 2022.

Please note that any cheques forwarded for show classes in 2020 or 2021 which did not take place due to the pandemic, were not lodged.
